Redcliffe School3who pulled out Redcliffe Schoolall their fundraising stops, making cakes, doing sponsored swims and all manner of other energetic activities to raise a mega £3703 to buy us new sit on diggers for the sandpit and to support the Playground's Summer Respite Scheme.

and contributed a fantastic £524.50 to the Raffle in support of the Playground.

and The Odney Club, Cookham,

who donated £692 from the proceeds of the Club's NGS Open Garden on 25th April. Thanks to Uel's most entertaining demonstration on how to make the perfect hanging basket a few days later, a further £600 was raised to help the Playground.

whose participation in a huge range of events, including the Reading Half Marathon, the Maidenhead Easter Ten and, most impressively, the London Marathon, has raised in excess of £2000.


. . . to Claires Court Schools

who not only came down and entertained the children during the Easter Holiday, but also donated £5528, raised through during the school's charity week.


. . . Mr. Panesar of Fix An Auto

who amassed an astonishing £2000 in sponsorship by taking part in last year's Boundary Walk.

special trike and a giant bean bag for the Adventure Playground.


. . . to the HIGHLAND CHALLENGE TEAM

who completed a five day challenge to climb, Britain's highest mountain,
and navigate 2-man canoes through the Great Glen, coast to coast via Loch Ness, Loch Oich, the River Lochy and the Caledonian Canal (a distance of 65 miles).
Gilbert, Jamie, Sam & Tim raised £2010.70, which with Gift Aid added, comes to an absolutely   magnificent £2247.62 - and this is how they did it:

who ran 13.1 miles in the Reading Half Marathon and raised over £600 to help support the Playground.
Canan was one of nearly 17,000 runners who took part in the race which was held on Sunday 29th March 2009.
