Some very sad news to start the month - Beverley, our beloved craft co-ordinator, has left us to spend more time with her family. We are extremely grateful to her for all the hard work whe put in during her time at the Playground. Her last day was 30th June, the day of our integrated toddlers' group - the Taplow Tadpoles - Tiny Toddle. It was a terrific success thanks to all Beverley's hard work, and a huge thank you to all the toddlers who took part, and have, so far, raised a fantastic £369!
On the subject of fundraising, the Dragon Boat Race took place on 13th June, with the Playground represented by the Paddling Playworkers. They all had great time - and didn't finish last! We think we we have raised about £600, so, well done and thank you to everyone who took part - hopefully we will see you again, same time next year.
Those of you who have visited recently will have noticed some tremendous changes around the Playground. The latest additions to the site comes thanks to teams of volunteers from MARS in the Community, who have been helping us to build some big props, ready for the summer. As well as covering the cost of the materials, they have helped to construct a space ship, a bi-plane, an airport, a station, and a petrol station.
All these new bits of kit will form the backbone of our summer activities this year, so check out our SUMMER PROGRAMME to see just what will be going on.

The latest figures for the Sponsored Walk show that over £15,600 has been received or promised so far, with Gift Aid still to be added.
