Everyone loves making a noise! Our sound room is full of opportunities to do just that. From drums and traditional percussion to electronic keyboards, microphones and electric guitars - and you can make the lights work by generating a sound.
Special additions to this room, which allow anyone to have a go, irrespective of their particular special need, include a 'sound beam', which lets people play music just by breaking the beam when they move their body or wave their arms, and a sound bed - a vibrating platform which allows the user to feel the music through their bodies, so, even if they have a hearing impairment, they can still join in. People love it when, as one once said, "it tickles when my bottom wobbles with the music".
